“I set up Greenforce as a not-for-profit NGO over 15 years ago following the request of local communities via the Rio Earth Summit. Our biodiversity surveys have developed into warden training programmes, creating new Marine Parks, empowering local communities and providing humanitarian aid. However, the heart of Greenforce remains our conservation and volunteer work we do in the field, that helps create sustainable communities. Our projects are perfect for gap year students and career breakers looking to get away and do something truly rewarding.”
