week South American adventure combining Spanish lessons, a Trek to Machu
volunteering at our jungle animal sanctuary and a visit to the
Galapagos! Travel along the Northern beaches of Peru and spend time at
our animal sanctuary in Ecuador. Learn about South American culture with
the Shuar and volunteer within the Quito community; don't miss out on
the experience of a lifetime!
Learn Spanish and explore Cuzco – Get to know the old capital of the Inca
Empire: sightsee and take in the unique views! As well as being jam-packed with
fun activities, you will learn Spanish so that you can interact with the
community around you! Learn how to navigate quirky markets and tourist sites!
Trek to Machu Picchu and Explore the Cuzco Beaches –Trek 5-7 hours a day through the Andean
landscape, past rivers and waterfalls with great views of snow-capped mountains
above and stunning valleys below.
Afterwards, head to the coastline of Peru and Ecuador to explore rich
history and take in the views! From
there, head to the beach where you can participate in various activities, or
just kick back and relax.
Volunteer in the Rainforest – Participate in helping rescued animals recover
so that they can return to the wild!
Help the Animal Rescue Centre and interact with monkeys, Macaws, Ocelots
and more! Afterwards, head deep into the
forest to the Shuar Tribe where you will learn about their fascinating culture
and contribute to efforts to sustain their way of life!
Participate in a Community Project – volunteer in Quinto and get to know the
Ecuadorian community! From teaching and
playing with children to rebuilding local schools, make a difference and make
some memories with the local community.
Explore the Galapagos Islands –participate in hikes, boat trips,
snorkelling, wildlife interaction and more! Swim and relax in Baltra, Santa
Cruz & Isabella Islands!
