BAHAMAS - FIELD UPDATES - WEEK 4

The Week That Was- Week 4, Phase 23 6thMay -13th May 2007

Saturday saw everyone have a good dive and then to celebrate the last ever Saturday for a number of people in the group, we headed to the famous ‘Colors’ bar in Staniard Creek. It was the first chance for a cold beer since we arrived and was very much appreciated. Needless to say, Sunday was a very relaxed day. The week was dominated by bad weather which saw us limited to only a few dives.

Tuesday and Wednesday saw the departure back to civilization of Kim, Jackie, Ally and Jake, leaving 12 of us.
           
Thursday and Friday saw an improvement in the weather and therefore a chance to get some dives in. just as importantly, everyone passed their paper fish I.D. test meaning we can now progress onto the water based test, good progress towards the start of us being able to survey the reef. Friday also saw the departure of Sue, so we are now down to 11 for the time being. That is the week that was…
