This placement would suit to anyone who wants experience as an English language teacher in a truly wonderful setting. We collect you from Beijing International airport. Following your Welcome and safety briefing we will settle you into your comfortable hostel.
FIRST you Learn Chinese
Your first week will include 10 Chinese language lessons, to give you a basic understanding. You can add additional weeks of language lessons if you want more than the most basic words - just let us know what you want to do and when you want to go and we will outline the options for you.
Where will I teach?
We work with the CHC committee of China. All the Primary schools and Middle schools are under the control of the CHC committee of China. You will be either teaching basic English or helping those with some English understand more. Greenforce Volunteers can also teach English and assist with community development projects. The better your language skills and the longer you can commit for, the more options are available to you.
You will typically have your weekends free. An ideal time to enjoy China's rich history of ancient civilizations and exciting traditions, as well as contemporary treasures - friendly people, fascinating culture, beautiful scenery and of course unique cuisine!
We can advise you of an additional tours you may wish to take and provide you with some emergency backup should you need it. finally your return airport transfer is included too.

1. 5 Weeks in China: Chinese Lessons and English TEACHING.

Airport collection from Beijing International airport. Welcome and safety briefing. Beijing city tour. 1 week basic Chinese lessons. Including 3 meals per day and accommodation. Then English teaching in Beijing including accommodation and 3 meals per day. Return airport transfer. Emergency back up. Departures: Throughout the year. £1,100.
2. 10 WEEKS IN CHINA: 2 WEEKS CHINESE LESSONS AND 8 WEEKS TEACHING:
On application we will call you to discuss any questions. You will be invited to your Briefing Session. You will also be sent your pre-departure Briefing Packs and Greenforce polo. We will ensure you are fully prepared for your adventure.
Airport collection from Beijing International airport. Welcome and safety briefing. Beijing city tour. 2 weeks Mandarin Chinese lessons - 2 hours per day. Including 3 meals per day and accommodation. Then English teaching in Beijing including accommodation and 3 meals per day. Return airport transfer. Emergency back up. Departures: Throughout the year. £1,900
3. 10 Weeks in China: 2 weeks Chinese Lessons, 4 weeks Panda Volunteer and 4 weeks ENGLISH Teaching.

Airport collection from Beijing International Airport. Welcome and safety briefing. Beijing city tour. 2 weeks Chinese lessons. Accompanied train to the Panda Reserve. 4 weeks Panda Volunteer including accommodation, training and uniform. Return to Beijing. 4 weeks English teaching. Including accommodation and 3 meals per day. Airport drop off. emergency back up. Departures: January, April, July and October £2,400
4. 6 MONTHS IN CHINA: 2 WEEKS CHINESE LESSONS, 23 WEEKS TEACHING OR MEDICAL INTERNSHIP.
