On arrival: Spain's third city, Valencia, offers you a warm Mediterranean welcome with historic buildings and beach side cafes. We collect you from Valencia International Airport and provide an introduction to Valencia. You will be taken directly to your accommodation. We highly recommend the option of staying with a family as it provides security, an ideal opportunity to learn more about Spanish culture and plenty of language practice.

During the first two weeks, you will take Spanish lessons for 20 hours a week. Living in Spain means you quickly develop your existing Spanish language skills.

WHERE WILL I WORK?

We have placements in business, hospitality organisations, educational NGOs, marketing, international business, import and export, journalism and architecture.

For all placements students must have at least an intermediate level of Spanish.

Before you arrive in Spain we will let you know where your placement will be, and where you will be staying. You will be placed in a small company that will give you the opportunity to fully understand the workings of a Spanish organisation and greatly improve your Spanish. Your input, and generation of new ideas will be hugely valued by the host organisation.

The objective of the internship program is to strengthen certain key skills needed in working life, such as language skills, understanding of cultures or co-operation skills. Having the courage to go abroad shows that the student has initiative, which employers like.

Living safely abroad also gives the student the opportunity to gain professional exposure in today's international workplace according to their abilities, interests and field of study and/or professional background.
