Essentials
We prepare you before you go. Our Briefing Day is held in London around 2 months before you leave.
A great way to meet retuning volunteers, go thru lectures on kit and how to behave in country.
What to pack, how to meet people when you enter a village for the first time - its all here.
Then we have a bbq at the end of the day!
We will ensure you are prepared for your Thailand adventure!
What's included?
Week 1: Welcome Week
Meet at Bangkok International Airport, where your project leader will meet you and take you to the Greenforce house at Singburi.
Learn all about Thai life to prepare you for the weeks ahead. This packed week includes: Thai cooking lessons, Thai massage, bicycle tour, explore the main Buddhist temples etc. Our cook prepares most meals, but you can join in.
Week 2: Elephant Sanctuary
Based a few hours north in Wand Thong. you learn how to look after these amazing animals, with plenty of hands on experience and riding them too.
Week 3: Community Project/ Orphanage
Make a lasting difference to the younger generation. Working in a remote community, providing vital assistance to the teachers or helping out at an orphanage.
Weeks 4 and 5: Hill Tribes
Thailand has many remote tribes living in its unspoiled hills. Going to meet them offers the chance to travel deep into Thailand, well off the beaten path. Help protect this lost tribe.
Week 6: The Beach
From jungle to beach. A chance to unwind and explore the world famous coastline as seen in Leonardo De Caprio's 'The Beach'. A stunning way to end your Thailand Adventure.
Country Information
With Gapforce Staff based in country, we meet you at the airport and settle you in.
Day two is your Welcome and Safety briefing is the ideal way to start.
