SOUTH AFRICA - Coach Sport

London Briefing:

We prepare you before you go. County, medical and project briefings.

Arrive: Port Elizabeth. Airport pick up. Welcome and safety briefing.

Week 1+ Introduced to your school or sports club. You actual coaching will depend on the time of year the school year. Working with the existing teachers, you will create, develop and implement a coaching plan.

Typically working with other volunteers you will develop management skills, public speaking and lesson planning as well as a passion for your selected sport.
You live in our volunter house with most meals included. Weekends are free to explore, maybe go on one of our option trips:safari etc.

You will live in our Student house in Accra where your breakfast and evening meals are typically provided. We then take you to your school or sports club. Full back up.

You will create lesson plans; run coaching sessions alongside the local teachers. You will learn public speaking, leadership and organisational skills as well as your chosen sports skills!
