PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

London Briefing Session: Before you fly, your project and medical sessions.

Arrival: Airport Pick up. Welcome and safety briefing.

Week 1: Siam Introduction: Your packed introduction week. Based form our central accommodation with all meals included. You will learn about Thai culture and Thai language – so at least you can say “hello”! We even include Thai cooking. Something to show off when you return! Next we head off and explore.
During this week you typically visit the famous Buddhist Temple: Wat Phranon Jaksi, the old capital of Ayutthaya (including a visit to the Elephant Village), Lopburi's museum and pagoda. An amazing way to learn about the true Thailand, one step on from the tourist trail.

Week 2-3: Orphanage Volunteer
The orphanage provides housing, food and teaching materials for these poor students, typically it is the only education they receive. Volunteers from overseas will have a big impact on them as you teach English, how your country operates and become involved in the lesson structure. The classes may seem old and a bit dirty, but the students are lovely and are so happy to see our volunteers – it’s hard to leave.

Week 4-5: Elephant Conservation
Your first site of these amazing animals will be truly memorable. Help protect their habitat and their future.
Work with the mahouts in the Elephant camp as they take care of the elephants and join them for their daily exercises and tasks. You will learn about the place of elephants in the culture in Thailand, their needs and the social problems that impact on their future. Daily chores include washing and feeding the elephants, learning some gardening and working with the people of the centre, and of course, riding the elephants!
During your free weekend, there is a swimming pool to chill out by or try river rafting. It’s all here!

Week 6: Chill Out Beach Week
We head down to the coast to Ko Samet. First found in the 1970’s this unspoilt coast is protected as part of the Ko Samet National Park. Beach bungalows, hidden islets, local bakery – no tourists!
Then back to Bangkok for your departure.

Then in true Thai style, chill out of the last week on the famous GreeFORCE beach chill out week!
